A booming U.S. economy and tight housing market have made young dot-com employees and landlords happy people. But it's also left some senior citizens — quite literally — out in the cold.That's where the American Seniors Housing Association comes in. The Washington D.C.-based group was created in 1991 by the National Multi Housing Council, which sought to involve property managers and owners in the shaping of legislation for senior housing.
